Oh that nuclear program

Exclusive: US removes uranium from Iraq

I patiently await a groveling apology from the entire dextrosphere as well as the MSM and every Democrat except Joe Lieberman.

We now resume with our regularly scheduled silence.

FTFA: "There was no evidence of any yellowcake dating from after 1991, the official said."

No apologies needed.

Glad to see you posting again. Hope all is well with you and your family.

come on man. If you are going to be honest then put the rest of the post up about it not being weapons grade and I believe the IAEA knowing that he had it....

not news..hardly the reason we went to war either

It is true that this yellowcake has been locked down and (in theory) inaccessible to Saddam's regime. It's also true that this stuff is much better for us being sent to Ontario for refinement, than sitting in Iraq waiting to be stolen.

While utility grade, this stuff was plenty good enough to make dirty bombs. And 142 nuclear bombs with the proper refining facilities.

Plus, there is the other matter to consider that history didn't begin after 1991. Here we are looking at 550 pieces of evidence that Saddam was in the Uranium business. Was that so that he could benevolently provide megawatt-hours of electrical power to his struggling people? Or was he all done with trying to get his hands on more Uranium? If that is the case, why was he shopping in Niger? Did Iraq have an onion famine?
