It's old news now but Pat Tillman is dead. He was an NFL football player who turned down a multimillion dollar contract to join the Rangers. He was killed when the helocopter he was flying in was attacked. I mulled this over for the past week or so and didn't really think I had much to add. I now think, this is the most fitting tribute:

We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.

To-day, the road all runners come,
