How can you make the preceding statement true by changing only one word? (10 pts)


Answer: "Rove is the greatest partisan mind of his generation and probably of any generation."

I mean, seriously. Is he insane? Does he not know those minor bit players in American history like Madison, Jefferson, Franklin, Adams et al.?

Jefferson could be pretty partisan himself. I think it was in Flexner's biography of Washington where I read of Jefferson agreeing to a policy in cabinet debates, only to have his political allies (like Madison) outside the administration attack it for political gain.

Sure. He may have been partisan but you can't deny that he was a brilliant political mind. Head and shoulders above Rove.
