A Novel Approach to Podcasting. Can't get published? Podcast. That what writers are finding. Ironically, giving something away for free leads to sales. If books are going this way, it's only a matter of time before webcasts become cost effective enough to have actors putting together their own shows. I've seen some seriously high quality work by scifi fans. The acting was dreadful but the effects and production value were very good. Not quite ready for prime time but considering the budget they must have had, really good. If they got the production team together with some good writers and professional actors (as opposed to fans) you would see something marketable. You might even see a major network pick up the show for cable. Take another genre like drama or comedy and the production cost plummets and you have lowered the barrier to entry even further. It's going to get very interesting.

OK, into my bed and I'll get the heating pad for a bit. We get him settled and he calms down. Knowing that he tends towards the dramatic, I s...
