Tax cuts for multi-millionaires
Taxpayer Bailout Gives Hollywood $470 Million Tax Cut
So Hollywood is un-American I guess? I keep hearing about how CEO's who "ship jobs overseas" (how one ships a job is never explained. What do they load at the docks exactly?) are un-American. They're greedy and evil and and and. None of this somehow gets attached to the movie industry. Indeed the charges of being "grossly overpaid" are never applied to actors, producers or directors. Why is that? What is the average income of the people in the movie industry? I'll wager the salaries of those stars, directors and producers is much further out of balance than the CEO of a bank vs. his employees. (I'm talking direct comp not stock).
Hypocrisy, thy name is Hollywood for moving productions to Canada et al.
Hypocrisy, thy name is GOP for passing this mess.
