Two Questions

Harry Reid tells us the war is "lost". If it is lost Sir, who won?


Networks that show baseball games do not show people who run onto the field during the game because it only encourages others to do the same. Why is this logic not applied to people who go on shooting rampages at, say, Virginia Tech?

harry reid isn't the only person saying it and he isn't wrong, it is just a hard pill to swallow 4 years later and nothing accomplished

Why is General Petreus telling him he is? Who do you think is in a better position to judge? If he's right why are Democrats backpedaling away from him as fast as possible?

I would think you would know better than to latch on to his comments like that though b/c you know he didn't say that the war is lost and move on to a new comment....

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) had said that "the [Iraq] war is lost" during a press conference discussing Congress' standoff with President Bush over emergency funding for the war. However, these outlets did not also report that, later during the press conference, Reid added that "the war, at this stage, can only be won diplomatically, politically, and economically."

General Patreaus even said the war cannot b won Militarily.

He's been so brazen with his porkbarreling and the whiff of corruption around him has been ripe enough to smell from here. I'd rather have a 100% democrat run Congress if they were ethical.
