Miriam's Meme
Miriam is posting poetry today so I thought I'd follow suit:
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
-Robert Frost
Always one of my favorites. Frost is the everyman's poet. Lyrical, evocative and simple.
