Is this the way to Amarillo? British troops have a sense of humor.

I'm guilty of a fair number of these. In my defense, I try to use them sparingly.

Stealth Disco. Dated? Yes. Juvenile? Yes. Funny? Absolutely.

MC Hawking. It's weirder than you think. Breaking new ground in nerd-dom.

"We want to make it clear that if the Pope does not appear on TV and apologize for his comments, we will blow up all of Gaza's churches." – terror group the Sword of Islam, upset over comments by the Pope linking Islam to violence

I'm with Freeberg. I hate when foreigners tell us how to run our own affairs. The Rt. Honorable Lord Monckton is correct. The Senators are betraying their oaths of office.

K/E ICBMs. My first thought was addressed in the subhed: Wouldn't any launch of an ICBM trigger a nuclear (nukular for any Presidents reading) war? The navy is alternately looking at switching their munitions on gunboats to KE weapons. That solves one problem but the question of immediacy remains. You still need a Navy boat in theater to hit that target. ICBMs allow for massive amounts of speed and a highly scalable area of destruction. By varying the payload they could narrow or widen targets accordingly. Large troop formation? Flechette rounds. Armored formation? We have tungsten rods the size of a crowbar. Bunker needs busting? Ditto but the size of a phone pole. Interesting indeed.
