Democrats wait in the wings with subpoenas

We shall see in short time who holds the gavel. I rather doubt the Democrats want to do more than just rattle the sabre of subpoenas. They're vulnerable to attack on ethics as much as anyone and if they start, they'll find themselves caught in the flood that follows.

Certainly they should. However, I don't share the unfounded idea that Bush et al. deliberately lied to go to war in Iraq. Unhinged liberals with the gavel could make the HUAC look like a tea party.

They don't really want to hold anyone accountable in an effort to correct our direction or prevent making the same mistakes in the future. Rather it's political grandstanding to gin up the Kos Kidz and damage the President. Whether it damages our nation and our efforts in Iraq are immaterial.

It's a retread of the 9/11 Committee. The real failures should have been addressed in a closed session as we're talking about holes in our intelligence agencies. Rather, everyone seemed more interesting in bluster and blather. See: Biden, Joe

He's been so brazen with his porkbarreling and the whiff of corruption around him has been ripe enough to smell from here. I'd rather have a 100% democrat run Congress if they were ethical.
