Die GroBe Stille is a movie about Carthusian Monks who live in virtual silence. I was intrigued when I heard about it on Slate's podcast some months ago. Now that it has been released it is getting rave reviews. Unfortunately, I don't see any release dates for the US but I'll be the first one in line if it come to our area. It's hard to imagine a nearly 3 hour movie with no dialog. Let's hope they at least give us a DVD at some point.
